I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Nicholas, but everyone calls me Nick or Nico. I started decorating way back in 1990 as a YTS boy on a weekly wage of £13, working four days a week and attending college for a day. So you could call me time served. I'm a big believer in apprenticeship, and for certain people—myself included—it's a great learning method. I have trained many trainees, and I am very proud to say that some have even gone on to set up successful businesses of their own.
